Susan Posnick Cosmetics is proud to be partnering with Support HerStory to introduce both the Susan Posnick brand and HerStory to women everywhere.

During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, three Texas women, all with years of business and marketing expertise, decided to create a Subscription Box and Marketplace where people could discover and shop female-founded businesses with products created and produced by women from around the world. 

This e-commerce platform gives women the opportunity to share their stories and sell their products in a meaningful way.

Currently there are 50+ brands offered- many which are Texas-based, supplying products in multiple categories for women to choose from, in order to put their personalized Subscription Box together.

We are honored to be included in the product selection for both the Subscription Box and on their marketplace and are the only color cosmetics represented.

Why Susan Posnick Cosmetics Appealed to them

When the women from Support HerStory heard about my personal history regarding why I shifted careers after 20+ years to start a healthy cosmetic brand, they were intrigued to know more. 

About me: My first career was spent working as a successful makeup artist with a high- profile clientele, many from the entertainment and music industries. I had the opportunity to travel the world and expected I would be doing makeup forever. 

Instead, fate laid out a different plan. After I was diagnosed with my first skin cancer and acknowledged that wearing sunscreen was mandatory, all the sunscreens I investigated contained chemical sunscreens, which I already knew I was highly allergic to. My creative brain knew there must be another and better way to approach both sun protection and color cosmetics, and after 3+ years of research, my company Susan Posnick Cosmetics was born.

Our core product COLORFLO is an all-natural sunscreen and foundation, which also provides skin treatment. The mineral product self-dispenses and brushes on through a refillable, artisan brush. The shades range from the lightest of skins to the darkest, as all women no matter their color, need to be wearing sun protection.

COLORFLO is weightless on the skin, blurs the skin’s surface so it looks flawless, and can easily pop into your purse or pocket for all-day sun protection and gorgeously smooth skin. In addition, it protects your skin from environmental pollutants and blue light, while letting your skin breathe. It won’t sweat off, making it perfect for hot weather, sports, and women going through a change of life. 

The entire range is composed of a few purposefully packaged products. Your beauty basics; clean, multi-purpose products performing all the beauty tasks we normally need an abundance of products for. The packaging is smart, with minimal waste and refillable containers, as the environment has been a concern to me from the beginning.

• COLORCOATED Mascara with a cult-like following, as it NEVER flakes or smudges, encourages healthy lash growth with peptides, is buildable and water resistant, yet removes with any cleanser. We often refer to it as wedding-proof mascara. 
• COLORDUO double-sided lip pencil in Nude/Rouge, both of which can be used as matte lipsticks in addition to lip liners. The pencil contains a lip-plumping ingredient as well as jojoba oil for moisture and sun protection.
• COLOREYEDEFINE eye wand in the universally flattering shades of bronze/copper. The deep brown bronze liner defines the eye while the copper eyeshadow on the other side of the wand adds depth to the eye and brings out every eye color. Easy to use as they can both be easily blended with your fingertips.

• COLORFLO foundation/sun protection in all shades. The self -dispensing brush is available, as is the loose powder in a sifter container- which I personally love for my morning application at home, and the refill. • COLORME for cheeks, eyes and lips. These are pure rich pigment color that self-dispense from a small pot with a plush sponge applicator. Available in 7 shades from a soft Lilly to a deep Orchid.
• ILLUMINATES is available in three shades: Champagne– a touch of golden-beige glow, Whisper-a soft lilac pink glow, and Seduction- a gentle peach glow. All 3 colors are meant to be used on your face, eyes, lips, and on your body. They are so light and airy, it’s like applying a layer of silk on your skin.

Susan Posnick Is A True Beauty Expert

Susan spent 20+ years as a celebrity makeup artist traveling the world working on fashion shoots, commercials, and films. 

When Susan was diagnosed with skin cancer and knew she was highly sensitive to chemical sunscreens, she shifted creative direction and began creating COLORFLO, leading to a line of color cosmetics that are clean, healthy and contained in environmentally friendly packaging. 

Susan is the recipient of an International Humanitarian Award which she received in Vienna, Austria for developing COLORFLO and Brush on Block, and for continuing to educate on the signs and treatments for all types of skin cancers.
